Versace Men

Controversial. The word used when one attempts to explain about Versace. Just to explain its unusual controversy, Andrew Cunanan killed the famous Italian clothier founder of this fashion name, Gianni Versace in July 15, 1997. Startlingly, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) praised the murderer “ because the murder finally got Versace to stop using furs”. It even launched its movement showing a completely naked Christy Turlington during PETA’s “ I’d rather go naked than wear fur” campaign ad.

The controversy geared Versace towards continuously topping the fashion market, now managed by the late Versace’s sister, Donatella Versace. She was also the former vice – president who filled the shoes of creative director of the designing House. Gianne Versace’s older brother Santo Versace became the CEO. Currently, the creative director runs most of the company’s operations. Once she retires, her daughter Allegra, the sole heiress of the Versace affluence, will take place.

The popularity of Versace was immediate even after opening its first boutique in Milan in 1978. Hailed among the world’s top fashion houses, it creates, sells, and doles out luxury clothes, accessories, fragrances, cosmetics, and furnishings marketed by the various brands of the Versace Group. Donatella Versace guides various teams deploy in the Versace Style Department. Each team is tasked its own fashion line or brand and dedicates their expertise on the kind of line that they are in.

There are numerous products that make up the Versace Group. They are Gianni Versace Couture, Versus, Versace Jeans Couture, Versace Ceramic Designs, Versace Collection (which replaced Versace Classic in 2005), Versace Sport. Aside from its famous line of apparels and accessories, a hotel named Palazzo Versace is an added asset to the company.

Versace has taken the fashion industry by storm the last few years with Donatella's self-determining, strong woman inspired collection, but at the same time making it look sexy, fierce, and chic. Versace has a famous and huge list of models and celebrities wearing and modeling their clothing. Elton John has long been a wearer of Versace. Other prominent Versace fans are Demi Moore, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Kate Moss. The late Princess Diana was sought to appear on a catwalk in Versace to celebrate her divorce with Prince Charles, but refused to, declining a million worth of euro. Jonathan Rhys Meyers also became the face for the mens campaign.

One of its most sought – after collection is the Versace Men’s Line. It is a mishmash of superior design and supreme quality. It has exclusive Versace collection of shirts, a collection of sexy underwear that is a high statement of elegance and comfort, and a creation of swimwear. Versace Jeans Couture, a clothing wear for casual look, offers an informal clothing: high-end denim and classic Gianni Versace print shirts, in the market today.

Versace is also famous in its fragrance line, where it boasts its top – selling perfumes and colognes, at its reasonable, even discounted price. A Versace metal jean is described as having a modest price, elegant fragrance with a not so hyper – masculine fragrance. Most of the Versace’s perfumes are generally sweet and sexy, subtle and unforgettable, plus great packaging means coming in a beautiful, non-breakable box.

Versace has eighty boutiques around the world and counting, and the leading parts of their stores are found in the two most style conscious markets in the world: Europe and Japan. London, Tokyo and Paris are also home to its multiple outlets, of course placing Milan as the location of the company’s headquarters.

So what’s so special about Versace’s line of clothing? It’s not just about its controversy of the founder’s death, nor the criticized use of fur as its top clothing material. Simply, it’s just a top fashion label in the fashion world today, offering luxury yet comfort at the same time.
