The well-loved designer has really gone a long way that is why most people rely to its products in terms of reliability. Sad to say though, Gianni Versace was shot and killed in his Miami home July 15, 1997 by an Andrew Cunanan. But that did not stop the company from bouncing back and moving on. His sister, Donatella Versace took over most of the company together with brother Santo Versace, as the creative director and the chief executive officer, respectively. Allegra Versace, daughter of Donatella Versace and sole heiress of the company’s fortune, is said to take over the company in due time.
